We are excited to announce that Datanova will be attending the NDS QLD Conference 2016 on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th of April at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The focus of this conference is on “Shaping the future – preparing for change” relating to the NDIS rollout. The new NDIS is a significant social change in Australia and this provides a unique opportunity to shape a preferred future of service provision in response to the needs and choices of people with disability.
The sector faces a complex reform agenda, along with the challenges that accompany major change. To respond effectively organisations will need to change, be market ready, and build flexibility within organisations to manage an uncertain future: doing so with business models that encourage and reward innovation, having the capacity to engage with a large and diverse customer base, and a customer-focused workforce.
Conference Program
The preliminary conference program looks very exciting and we are especially looking forward to the official opening by The Hon. Coralee O’Rourke MP, Minister for Disability Services, Minister for Seniors and Minister Assisting the Premier on North Queensland. Day two of the conference, the different streams focus on Creating a Market that Serves People with Disability, Building a Dynamic & Customer focused Workforce and Redesigning Innovative Services and Supports.
